By registering, the participant (or the parent/legal guardian in the case of a minor) declares that they have the physical, mental, and health condition necessary to take part in the activities. The participant is obliged to comply with the ski school’s house rules, safety regulations, and the instructor’s instructions. The ski slope may only be used under the supervision of an instructor.
The parent/legal guardian is obliged to inform the organizer of any health condition, injury, illness, allergy, or special need that may affect participation. In the event of an accident or sudden illness, the organizer is entitled to accompany the participant to a doctor or, if necessary, arrange hospital transport. Participation in the activities is at the participant’s own risk. The organizer does not accept liability for accidents resulting from failure to comply with the rules, from the participant’s negligence, or from withheld health information.
The participant must respect the physical safety of others and must not disrupt group activities. Anyone whose behavior endangers the safety of others or disrupts the program, despite repeated warnings, may be excluded from participation. Any intentional or negligent material damage caused by the participant must be compensated.
The use of a protective helmet is mandatory for all minor participants throughout the entire duration of the lesson and within the ski school area, regardless of skill level or type of activity.
For adult participants, the ski school strongly recommends the use of a helmet. If an adult participant refuses to wear a helmet after being informed by the instructor about the associated risks, they may continue the lesson at their own responsibility.
Under no circumstances may an instructor present helmet use as an optional choice or encourage participation without a helmet. The ski school shall not be held liable for any injuries resulting from the absence of a helmet.
Lessons may be cancelled free of charge no later than 12 hours before the scheduled start time. Lessons cancelled within 12 hours of the start, as well as unattended and unreported absences, will be charged in full. In case of cancellation due to weather conditions, technical issues, or any reason attributable to the organizer, the participation fee will be credited and may be used for a rescheduled lesson.
Ski lifts, conveyor belts, and other slope facilities within the ski school area may be used only with the explicit permission and under the supervision of an instructor.
Participants may use lift facilities only if:
the instructor has granted explicit permission,
the participant possesses the necessary technical skills,
and all instructions provided by the instructor are strictly followed.
The independent or unauthorized use of ski lifts is strictly prohibited and shall be considered dangerous behavior. In case of violation, the participant may be excluded from the lesson, and the ski school shall not be held liable for any damages or injuries resulting from such conduct.
By registering, the participant (or the parent/legal guardian in the case of a minor) acknowledges and accepts that photos and videos may be taken during the programs, which may be used by the ski school for marketing, communication, and documentation purposes. If the participant does not wish to appear in such recordings, they may request this in writing at info@pasaretisiiskola.hu
